[MC-10632] Boats show water splashes when falling from high places, even if not in water

A boat falling shows water trails/splashes when not in water.

Place a boat from a high place, push it off the edge, and get in it, and after a few seconds you will see water splashes.

If you don't see any water particles, then look up or behind you.

Can still not reproduce with 1.5 server & client.

It might be fixed then.

Tried on 1.4.7 vanilla server, 3 players, boats gave water particles when falling.
Tried on 1.5 server, nothing.

This issue no longer is present, it can be closed.

Well, it's "fixed" because boats don't show any splash particles anymore, even in water: MC-92061

Should someone then change the status to "resolved"?

No, this issue is most probably not resolved and untestable until MC-92061 is fixed.
