JRE Fatal Error when loading single player world - libobjc.A.dylib+0x6e9d

Edit: It appears this issue is triggered by having beta macOS High Sierra builds prior to 17E160e installed

When loading a single player (does not occur with multiplayer) world, the game crashes when it would start rendering the world, after the dirt screen loading page finishes.

I have attached the hs_err_pid files generated by the JRE

This also seems to occur when connecting to a locally hosted server.

Worth noting I had this issue whilst running the last of the High Sierra betas, and installing the GM fixed it for me.

Resolved with macOS 10.13.2 build 17C88

Hi all, I have the same problem (sort off) I have entered a bug report earlier today but it was apparently a duplicate of this one.
see here my bug-report
https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-123559

can anyone help me with this? or check if they have the same problem as I have.

Hi, yes the issue with macOS 10.13.3 beta is the same as this problem, and is invalid on this tracker as it is an issue with Apple and not Minecraft.

How is this an issue with the latest beta of macOS High Sierra when previous versions of the game such as 1.12 work perfectly fine with both the bundled JRE provided by the game and the system provided JRE. I feel like this is caused by a change in the game and would be valid here. Why is this only an issue on Minecraft 1.13 ? Seems more like a Minecraft problem to me then an Apple problem honestly.

You will observe that the release versions of macOS are fully functional. Apple released macOS 10.13.3 yesterday (during the betas, Minecraft did not properly operate on it) and there are no problems. Mojang is not responsible for functionality on other vendors' beta software.

Fixed in macOS 10.13.3 (17D47)
