/time set (day:midnight:noon:night) resets current day instead of time of day

using the command:

/time set <day:midnight:noon:night>

Resets the world's current day to 0 rather than setting the time of day for the current day.  This should only be able to be done using /time <add:set>

Cannot reproduce. World's game time (via /time query gametime) stays the same for me after updating the time using /time set

The command resets a worlds current day instead of actual gametime.

That /time set <number> resets the gametime is per MC-51760 Working as Intended.
To set a specific day, use e.g. /time set 72000 for day 3.
The bug here is that /time set <daytime> e.g. /time set noon also resets the gametime. (Most probably because noon is an alias for 6000)

Can confirm in 20w51a.

Can confirm in 21w03a.

Can confirm in 1.18 Pre-release 1.

Also a parity issue, as this seems to work properly in Bedrock Edition.
