Any block the player can walk through, regardless of whether you can see through it, the guardians can shoot through it anyway. This is quite glitchy because it means that guardians can shoot right through seaweed type blocks. I think this could be fixed by making guardian lasers become obstructed by block hitboxes instead of collision boxes.
This can be confirmed for: powder snow, lava, open fence gates, cobwebs, kelp, seagrass, flowers, tallgrass, ferns, coral "plants", coral fans, rails, sugar cane, and vines.

Assuming guardian lasers are anything related to real life lasers, It shouldn't be able to pass through grass, alternatively, it should break grass and other weak blocks, but any other blocks that are opaque should block the laser.
Sounds like it WAI. Since they are not considered to be solid blocks by the game logic, then entities and other things can pass right through them with ease, why would their beam of all things be blocked when plenty of other solid objects can pass right through?
