just uploaded a crash report, my latest log file (Which ended up in a game crash) and all the info I could find about my graphics card... I think I provided my OS version above in case that's what you're mentioning and I'm not missing anything. It's: Os: Windows 8.1 , 64 bit build 9600 (6.3.9600.17415). Additionaly I was unable to find my "driver version" but if it's still needed, I will do my best to provide the adequate information as this is a serious matter for me... However it's not the game crash which bothers me this much but the removal of the VBO's option... My computer couldn't handle VBO's being "on" since 1.10 and now that the option is forever activated and there's no option to change that I can no longer play the game... I think that many weeker systems like mine will probable face similar issues

Please disable all resource packs and send me the log files if you are still getting crashes. Right now it's hard to tell from the log files if it's an issue directly related to VBO or caused by the texture pack you are using (Ragecraft Faithful 64x64), the log file indicates a corrupt or malformed metadata file in the resource pack.
You also wrote in one of the files that you have an Intel(R) HD Graphics GPU. It would be very helpful if you could find the model (for example HD 1000 or HD 4000 or whatever model you have installed).
I went on and actually deleted all the resource packs I had in my system (didn't need them anyway) and still got a crash when I made an attempt to open a world in the newest snapshot... I couldn't find a GPU model with a number as described (4000-1000) Instead I've enclosed all the information I could find above, along side with yet again my latest log and a screenshot of my DirectX diagnosing tool... Hope you'll find this helpful

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C
for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.
Here's my crash report from earlier... I can't do the F3+C thing because I won't be in game for 10 seconds... As soon as I join it crashes...

You really need to update your graphics driver. Your driver version is more than 4 years old.
I just tried doing that but it says that this is the "newest driver"... So basically, is this laptop doomed?
Mojang intentionally did it. I don't know why, but I was told that they did it on purpose.
I’m having the same issue and have no idea how to solve it. It’s been an issue for years and all my drivers are always up to date
This issue has been the case for me since the snapshot following 18w43c to the present. I am in a new world (single play) for all but a bare moment before a crash occurs. (I have option to turn off VBOs for snapshot 18w43c so it's my last playable version.) Acer laptop intel integrated graphics.
hmm.. is there a chance this might be somehow connected to the spawn rate of mobs?

WAI per this tweet by Searge:
The question about the VBO option in the latest snapshots came up a few times. It's been removed on purpose and VBO will now always be used. This is one of the first side effects of the ongoing work we do to improve the rendering engine. #JustBlaze3DThings

Works as intended, sir. Sorry. Read the snapshot notes for 18w44a. (https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/18w44a)
Mojang, mark this as resolved, the VBOs option is intended to be removed.
I am also having this problem of crashing due to VBOs and now, because of this change I can never play minecraft again, since I cant update, i cant play with the new features or join a multiplayer server!
But for me it's not just at 1.14 it's me everytime !!
Please provide more information. I need to know what graphics card you are using, the driver version that is installed on your system, the operating system (type and version) and the log file from a crashed instance of the game.
