The bug
There are various inconsistencies in the generation of biomes - e.g. one biome may not interact with another the same way as its variants would. Below is a table showing the biome(s) affected, a description of how the biomes are affected, an example location (with seed and coordinates), a picture showing the issue, and notes about the way the biomes generate (if necessary).
Picture | Affected Biome(s) | Description | Location | Notes |

Eroded Badlands aren't always accompanied by a Modified Badlands Plateau - they can occasionally generate by themselves. Also, the plateau variants of biomes aren't always bordered by their normal variants (I'm assuming this is the case for badlands because I've seen a savanna plateau right up against a roofed forest without a savanna in between before).
Thank you for merging my Reports! Now I won't have to make reports on all the individual Problems with Biome Gen!
It's been half a year since I reported this issue, and the tickets which are currently marked as related to this issue aren't closed as duplicate (that was what I expected to happen when I first reported this issue). Could a mod please close the related tickets as duplicate? Thanks!
There is also this issue I Discovered with Jungle Edge M Biomes: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-140151
It would be a good idea to add this also, and this Bug is Probably why Jungle Edge M Biomes are so Rare. I want to help this Post contain every single Biome Bug that I know of, because the more Bugs Found, the closer these bugs get to being Fixed!
"Eroded Badlands aren't bordered by a desert when against another biome..." That's because Eroded Badlands is the border of the Badlands variant "Modified Badlands Plateau."
