After 18h of fishing, there we had still no Mending book. Its wierd, because of we got a lot of books, even multiple times...

Fishing is luck, no spend 18 hrs get like 5 Mending books.
There IS a 1/7 chance, but there are LOTS of book in Minecraft!
I cannot confirm this report. I just used my fishing rod with Lure III + Luck of the Sea II and the first enchanted book I catched was Smite III + Mending. It took me around 3min, I'm sorry Paul. (MC 19w03c)
Have to say that I'm not a fan if the odds on mending books has changed. I've fished with a maxed out rod for 12 or more hours and still not a sinle book with mending. 1.13.2 seems to have greater chances.

Since 1.14 I play on a survival world in and I made an Fishing AFK room.
I have fishing like 10 nights ( 10 x 8 hours = 80 hours) and I don't get any mending books. Also in other versions I always make that fishing room and one night I get like 3 or 5 books of mending with of course an Full Enchanted Fishing Rood.
It seems that mending books are not in the Loot Tables, and of course, this is a bug.
