Many water holes can be seen in a superflat world, well beyond how many most player would consider acceptable.

Cannot reproduce in the latest version 1.20.1 as water lakes do not generate at all in super flat worlds.

Water lakes were effectively removed with the addition of aquafiers, so there's that.
