Wolves will not teleport to player when they are too far away

I think this only happens when you're in a snow biome where snow covers the whole surface and wolves are unable to teleport there because they cant find "unoccupied blocks".

I don't know whether the creator of this issue has experienced the problem in the same situation, so I didn't wanted to create a duplicate and instead I described my problem here.

Can confirm this happens in the latest 1.14.1 release.

Tamed dogs and cats refuses to teleport on non solid blocks like snow layers, tall grass and flowers.

you can see pets in this picture at the distance where they should be teleporting to you

and breaking a snow layer allowed them to do so

i hope this issue will be fixed because it hinders the pets in snowy biomes and i wound up never having them follow me because of that

Resolving as invalid as the behaviour is now different in 1.14.4. Teleporting issues with tamed animals are now tracked in MC-157494, MC-156005 and MC-145021.
