The bug

The fire block can't be placed on top of hoppers by using flint and steel. This used to work in 1.13.2 and possibly other versions before.

Easy and decorative element of the game.

This report was related to a survival feature of using flint and steel on the hopper leaving a permanent fire. Not with the help of commands.

Edit: Not fixed in 26.2

26.2 first picture current, 2nd a building from 2019 in the same world where fire could still be placed on hoppers.
