Bees suffocate when against a solid block ceiling

The bug

Bees rubbing up against a solid ceiling start suffocating and eventually die.

To reproduce

  1. Build a room out of solid blocks

  2. Spawn some bees

  3. Wait a while for the bees to fly towards the ceiling
    → ❌ Eventually, they'll suffocate

Still in 19w35a

Confirmed in 19w35a but the bug is for Adult Bees too, please update this report

Done, updated to edit out the "baby" part.

This appears to still happen to baby bees in 19w36a. I haven't seen it happen to adult bees in 19w36a though. See attached video.

Still happens to both baby and adult bees, although much rarer. 

 

Was not able to record adult bees taking damage from solid walls, but have seen baby bees take damage and dying from touching solid walls (in my case, glass). 

Baby bees still taken damages in 19w36a.
