The bug
Even if there are empty hives nearby, bees don't seem to want to claim it, and instead lose their home hive if it is full.
To reproduce
Place a few bee hives
Spawn in a few bees
Place a few flowers
Wait for the bees to pollinate the flowers
Wait a while until one hive is full
Inspect the data of one of the bees
→ ❌ Its hive coordinates (HivePos
) are 0 / 0 / 0

Still in 1.15.2, pollinated bees don't enter a new beehive, instead constantly flying around.
3 pollinated bees in my room:
[media]Placed a new hive (from the stack I have in my hotbar), and no matter how much time have passed, they do not enter it:
[media]Yet not sure how to reproduce though.
P.S. Probably related info: the bug appeared after some of bees, breeded here, escaped the room to the surface and flew away so I could not find them, also they most probably can't find a path to their original hive since I closed the gap in the room. I continued breeding and started to notice this bug.
Still affects 20w46a. However, the bug only lasts a few minutes when bees are spawned via /summon command.
