Saddles, Horse Armor, and Name Tags are missing crafting recipes.

Dungeon loot only.

I don't know why this was marked resolved, it is still broken as of 13w21a.

Because it is intended behavior.

i have gone through 25 dungeons and not a single one has had any horse armor i have seen saddles but the spawn on the horse armor doesn't work so i suggest making it craft-able. the community doesn't like the dungeon loot. (saddle can stay the same)

See MC-18509 for a chest in a dungeon with 3 saddles. (seed and coordinates in that ticket).

Found in dungeon chests
Name it with an anvil then right click a mob to name animals

Locating Horses
To locate horses you must travel to an area you have not visited before. Areas of worlds rendered in previous versions will not contain new additions

Horse Armor
Exist in diamond, iron and gold variants
Cannot be crafted. Can only be found in most types of generated chests, including in dungeons, Nether Fortresses, Desert Temples, and Jungle Temples

Saddles are only found in chests inside dungeons, Nether Fortresses (Minecraft 1.6) and Desert Temples (Minecraft 1.6), or by trading with a villager. Prior to horses being added, Dinnerbone stated he will not be including a crafting recipe for saddles.

This sucks im gonna go to the snap shot where horse armor is craftable.
