Boats Still Break on Lily's

I can confirm this as well, in an Ocean world with a bunch of Lilipads manually placed and a new boat.

The boat doesn't always break, just managed to drive savely through some lily pads ... strange

Go to pool area in the world (Test.zip) I attached, and place lilypads in there, try crossing to the other side in your boat, boat breaks along with the lilypads

For me, it happened with a new boat after just two hits (the boat broke when hitting the second Lili Pad)

Yep, the number of hits seems to be the reason. Thicker barriers (http://i.imgur.com/rS34lh2.jpg) of lily pads give a practically 100% chance to break the boat (after the boat hits 2-3 lily pads).

You can also use this world preset to test it. Just throw down a boat and see how it still breaks.

I have discovered not holding down "w" (pressing it for half a second every so often) doesn't affect the boat breaking at all, and it just glides through the lilypads.

Bug still present in 1.7 pre-release, swamps are almost impossible to navigate without breaking and lilypads placed in a row are a boat destroyer.

Boats still break on lilies and other silly things (like chickens) in 1.7.2.

Boats still break on some lily pads on various impacts (slow - fast). Occurrence is random, but happens more often than not. 1.7.2

It seems the likelihood of wrecking the boat has to do with the speed. My boat seems to survive most very slow collisions.
