Falling blocks glitch through shulkers when the shulker is opening / closing

Place a shulker down using a spawn egg. Then pillar up with dirt say, five blocks. Drop an anvil on to the shulker. When the shulker lid rises (this is in creative) and then drops back down again, sometimes the anvil will glitch through the shulker.
