The bug

Pressing F3+F4 to change gamemode does not work when you have gone into Chat Settings and switched Chat to "Hidden".

Confirmed in 1.16 Pre-release 2. The [ F4 ] + [ F3 ] gamemode switcher is also affected. Dying and respawning appears to fix the issue.
