[MC-17038] Bug with the still lava block animation?

An bug discoverd with the 13w22a snapshot. The animation for still lava keeps resetting itself before the full animation is done.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
