If this issue has not yet been fixed, it's a texture issue caused by not fully erased/very high translucency pixels. The similar issue with warped fungi is for the same reason. Can be fixed by fully erasing the translucent pixels. Enlarged Images showing areas with extra pixels attached.

I thought the thing with the Warped Fungi was intentional, it looks pretty cool that it drips like that, and also matches the hanging Warped Wart on the large grown fungi tree.
