The crafting recipe of Polished Basalt is inconsistent

The Bug

Before the addition of Polished Basalt, many stone variants that can be obtained by crafting or stonecutting are called Polished or Cut:
Andesites can be crafted or stonecutted into Polished Andesites.
Diorites can be crafted or stonecutted into Polished Diorites.
Granites can be crafted or stonecutted into Polished Granites.
Sandstones can be crafted or stonecutted into Cut Sandstones.

While variants that can be obtained by smelting are called Smooth:
Sandstones can be smelted into Smooth Sandstones.

However, the Polished Basalt, which is obtained from smelting, doesn't follow the rules above. Might considering renaming it to make its name consistent with other stone variants, or changing it recipe to crafting and/or stonecutting?

I don't know if this is a bug but I can confirm this

Maybe putting basalt in a stonecutter to make polished basalt?

I think it makes sense for it to be called smooth basalt, as it makes no sense to polish the grooves from inside the basalt, and into a completely different position.

The name is the correct part - the crafting recipe will be changed.

So Basalt will be able to be put in a stonecutter and become Polished Basalt?

Edited the title according to @unknown's comment in order to prevent confusion when the snapshot is released.
