You can't hit yourself with arrows when PvP is disabled but I seriously think if arrows (would) have an owner variable, they should be able to hurt their owner if he is stupid enough to hit himself 😛

Well they don't work in Player versus Player. But if one player hits himself, Player and Player are the same so it's not Player versus another Player.
