The bug
Llamas won't boot players off not will they show hearts to confirm that the player has successfully tamed them.
This world was generated on the 20w21a snapshot. However, for some reason, this bug doesn't exist after importing a world from 1.15.2 to the snapshot.

I took the spawn eggs out of the creative inventory. I also set a few gamerules such as doDaylightCycle and doWeatherCycle to false, but I can't see how that would affect anything.

So I created a new superflat world in creative mode, this time with grass as the main block. On the grass, I could easily tame a llama, and see inside of its inventory. I then filled in a large area with glass (100x100). On this glass layer (white stained glass) I could not tame the llama, nor did it wander or boot me off like normal when I got on rode it. This only works with different types of glass (only tested white stained glass and normal glass though).
Edit: This also applies to leaves
Can confirm in 1.19.2
World was created in 1.19.1
Tried with naturally spawned Llamas as well as spawn egg llamas as well as wandering trader Llamas in our base appx. 2000 blocks from spawn.
They were standing on upper stone brick halb slabs
I'm unable to reproduce the issue, did you take those spawn eggs out of the creative inventory, or spawn them in differently using /give?
