Ever since 1.16 and 1.16.1 update, I am losing progress when playing realms. It seems to not be saving progress when I exit. It seems like when I leave and go back in immediately, it will reload where I left off. When I log in the next day, I have lost either some or all of my progress from the last day. I've never had this issue in the past.
Day 1 after update played for about 3 hours.
Day 2 logged in and noticed I lost about the last 30 minutes of play time (still had things in my inventory etc, no big deal but it was noticeable). Played for about 4 hours day 2.
Day 3 logged in and nearly all of the 4 hours of play from the prior day was gone.
Never had any issues with Realms before. Not sure what's going on.

I have also had this occur in 1.16.1, but, in my case, this has happened to me around 6 times already, in one day...
Just like the report above says so, I never had any problems using Realms up until now.
I really hope it gets fixed ASAP.
Hi there!
Realms seems to be having tons and tons of issues after 1.16 has released. However, this bug has been around for nearly three years already, and this seems to be a duplicate of REALMS-401.
Make sure to do a quick search for your bug before posting it, and then vote for it, comment on it, and follow it. This is the best way for it to be prioritized by Mojang. Making a duplicate post means more work for the volunteers who help out to moderate and clean things up for the developers to look at and fix what needs to be fixed.
Also, this is a Realms-specific issue. For better results and for people who understand Realms better to see your issue, in the future, please post bugs specifically for Realms in the Realms project.

I do not believe this is a duplicate of 401. This just started happening two days ago, reliably I might add. The 401 bug is from three years ago which is eons in the software world and is irrelevant today as a sales tax dispute with Radio Shack in 1997..

This has also occurred to me please fix Mojang.
Hi there!
If you look a bit closer into REALMS-401, you'll notice that it has been marked as an issue in 1.10, 1.15, and 1.16. It seems that it is just an issue with the software and hardware that Mojang uses to control Realms, and a few lines of code modified every so often can cause these issues. There have been multiple bug reports very similar to yours that have been created very recently (1.16, within the last week) that have been marked as duplicates of REALMS-401, so this is what has led me to believe that it is a duplicate.
Although this report may seem irrelevant due to its age, there are still many bugs this old that are still in the game today. Take MC-4, for example. It was created in October of 2012, and still exists in the game today.

Thank you for your report!

I had this occur one in 1.16 and three times in 1.16.1
I've recommended the participants to not use the Realm until this is corrected. If this remains a problem, we will eventually revert back to self-hosting.
