[MC-19230] Comparator not updating when Endportal frame with ender eye is destroyed

I found a bug where when I place a comparator, then a block next to it, then the end portal frame block and put the ender eye in, the comparator lights up, but when I destroy the end portal frame, the comparator doesn't update and stays lit up.

Ah I see. Attached screenshots. I'm curiosu why the comparator would grab a signal to begin with. How is the portal frame sending power through the block?
