So I was playing some survival, mining and stuff. When i Came across a lava source I wanted you stop it (by placing blocks, I had a Netherite pickaxe in my main hand and a stack of Stone in my off hand) behind the lava source was a redstone ore. I tried placing the block with clicking (right mouse pad) but nothing happend only the animation was played. Later still nothing happend (I waited a bit because i was playing on a server). Later i tried in single player and the same thing happend I could not place a block from the offhand on top a redstone ore.
If there is anything you didn't understand I Will try my best to make it clearder. (My English isn't that good).
I hope Mojang van fix it. And I wish them good luck.

The failed right-clicking of the redstone ore with the pickaxe takes precedent over placing the block in the offhand.
