Upper trapdoors, slabs and hanging bells trample grass paths and farmland even though no contact is made between the blocks.

Mojang should really have a hard look at this behaviour overall
@Chandler I understand your point, but it just seems... odd. I feel it would be better for the blocks to be destroyed when the trapdoor is opened. Besides, flower pots, mob heads and end rods don't trample paths/farmland.
Well, that would make this a feature request. Maybe Mojang will look at this behavior someday, but this ticket will have to be resolved as Invalid.
Yeah, I agree, but there's certainly some continuity issues going on. regardless of how this ticket is marked hopefully they'll look into it

I am pretty sure this is WAI. The trapdoors are considered a block and even though there is no direct connection between them and the farmland/path blocks, they are a block and should be removing the path and farmland
