What is the "Music" sound setting set to?

Still a bug in 1.20.2 music setting is ON. Jukebox should say in subtitles "Juke box is playing" or something so deaf people know music is being played by players

can confirm this still doesnt work

in version 1.20.2 no subtitles for jukebox activation or already playing music

What do you expect? The "Now playing: DISK" being shown in both the action bar and the subtitles? The action bar already fulfills the purpose here, and also communicates it to the players with subtitles turned off.

if interactions with the jukebox arnt really important for deaf ppls then no other are either..

u should think of removing the subtitles feature completly then 😉

The action bar and subtitles are not the same If a event is playing for 30 seconds I would expect the subtitle to tick for 30 seconds or with the beat like the music tone does while playing the jukebox.Also so the player dosnt have to be looking at the jukebox to understand whats going on.

Subtitles only lasting for a few seconds is WAI, see MC-93295. Subtitles are only shown upon starting a new sound event call, asking that to change (e.g. showing "Music plays" repeatably for a single instance of the music sound event triggering) is a change request and not a bug.

Can confirm in 1.21.8.
