i have a cactus farm and there is a minecart hopper underneath collecting but except it's not at all at any point after i set the random tick speed to 100. it has been successfully collecting until now. what is going on??

Are you sure the hopper minecart can collect the item? Please do some testing in a creative world.

The issue has been resolved. The hopper minecart now works. I found it was water that was preventing the items from being picked up.
