The "Oh shiny" advancement can be gotten in creative mode, which piglins don't attack you so you don't distract them.

I don't really see the bug here per-se: The advancement is granted only when the player does not wear any gold gear, even in Creative - even though the Piglin isn't angry. Removing that option would remove the option of testing that advancement.
Searching other reports, reports about certain advancements being unobtainable in creative get triaged. That's enough source to confirm this as intended.
