Lightning rods don't output a redstone signal when struck by a lightning from a channeling trident

You can add that while it turns on if you hit a mob which stands on it with a channeling trident it does power, while it doesn't when hit directly

Parity Issues are no longer valid. They are two completely different games

That is false. Parity issues are accepted for things introduced in 1.15+
