Bundles dropping a stack of non stackable items would cause them to still be stacked when picked up

Run the command

/summon minecraft:item ~ ~ ~ {Item:{id:"minecraft:bundle",Count:1b,tag:{Items:[{id:"minecraft:diamond",Count:64b},{id:"minecraft:diamond_chestplate",Count:64b}]}}}

fill your inventory, right click the bundle, and once you pick up the diamond chestplates the item will still be stacked. This was only fixed for bundles.

Considering that in regular gameplay, the player will never be able to achieve that status, this is not that grave an error.

If this update is released, and this bug still exists, players on servers could use exploits to get stacked armor, stacked weapons, stacked totems, etc.

True that, but like MC-203643, if a server gives a player a bundle higher than stack limit then it wouldn't work properly.

I hope this issue isn't a duplicate. I tried searching.

@Hipposgrumm yes exactly. This has more gameplay impact than MC-203643.

It's already possible, but this would make it easier.

I think this works as intended because when you are in creative and you obtain a stack of unstackable items(ex. totems) and throw them on the ground, the same thing happens, this ticket is possibly a duplicate
