Pointed dripstone filling up a cauldron is not affected by the randomTickSpeed gamerule

to reproduce:

  • create the appropriate setup for pointed dripstone to start filling up a cauldron

  • wait until the cauldron is filled(and measure the time it took)

  • empty the cauldron, set the randomTickSpeed gamerule to a ridiculous number and wait

  • (X) the times are similar although the second one should be significantly faster

Pretty sure this is WAI, just like rain filling cauldrons

 

Can confirm.
A single Pointed Dripstone works as expected, however adding a second layer of dripstone prevents it from working correctly. Did not test with three or more dripstone.
