Large dripstone structures can be generated outside the caves, it happens very occasionally, these are the examples of this error that I have found in this Dripstone Caves single biome world.

I can confirm on a single biome Dripstone Caves world. It appears as if the dripstone does not stop generating at the top of the cave that it originates from.
