Fence sides have incorrect texturing

The texturing of some of the side parts of fences are incorrect. If the logic for the texturing of similar blocks such as walls, buttons, pressure plates etc is applied, then a part on the fence should be mapped to the same part of the texture that would be there if it was a full block. For most of the fence this is the case, but for the sides of the two parts to the right of the post when viewed from any direction, the UV is seemingly 7 pixels too far to the left from where it should be. This happens when viewing from he north, south, east and west and on all fence types.

I don't see the issue can you provide an image with the texture issue highlighted

I see what's meant, but it's hard to explain.
Look at the right fence bars' top bar, compare the UV mapping to the block behind the fence, you'll see that the UV mapping starts from the 4th pixel from the left, rather than being aligned to the right side of the texture.
The left bars and other sides of the right bars are correctly aligned to the corresponding side of the texture.

Does this still an issue in 1.19.4?

I can confirm this issue in 1.20 pre-release 1 with the attached resource pack. The texture mapping on the underside also appears to be incorrect.

I've attached a resource pack that fixes this issue completely:

As this changes only a single model, here is the modified model file:

Turns out, this is a duplicate of MC-109478.
