The bug

Cactus can generate excessively tall, though it can only grow three blocks high. Fun and harmless generation quirk. Also very old and has been in the game since at least 1.4.7.

To reproduce

Enter any of the following seed and coordinates.

6-block tall cacti (found by Reddit users, 1.17.1)

Expected result

Can confirm, but i think fixing it would do more harm than good. Also, an extremely tall cactus is very unlikely to happen, and removing this would probably get the seed community upset.

I'm not that sure, the seed community is mostly on older versions of the game. However, as much more game-breaking bugs were marked as "Won't Fix" (I'm looking at you, MC-111378), this probably will as well.

Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now.
