[MC-238060] The screen goes black for a few seconds when loading a world

The bug

This mainly occurs when traveling the world or creating a new world.

Steps to reproduce

Observed Behavior:

Sudden black screen occurs.

Expected Behavior:

This was happening in 1.17.1 but no sudden black screen occurs.

Can confirm. It's not that the screen goes black, but the lighting is substantially delayed.
