We are unable to place anything or use the mouse controls. When we click the right, left and center buttons the only thing that happens is we can punch or remove blocks. I have tried to adjust the settings in the control section but nothing happens. We are unable to do anything but destroy blocks in this game - please advise on how to get the mouse controls to work - can we use different buttons to place objects?

This is happening to me as well, mostly in my inventory. My mouse works everywhere else I am not sure what I did, I am on Mac OS.
The mouse works, it just only punches out blocks. We are not able to place anything. All buttons do the same thing.
Would MC-145948 happen to describe your issue?
I think this is your mouse, not the game's fault, does your mouse middle/right click anywhere else?
