If you use a fill command to fill an overly large area with water above lava, the game will stop processing everything that are controlled by tick processing. The framerate remains untouched. This soon triggers MC-241745.
To reproduce
/fill ~ ~-1 ~ ~175 ~-1 ~175 lava
/fill ~ ~ ~ ~175 ~ ~175 water

Managed to get a crash on a test server whilst trying to reproduce this. In singleplayer only kicks me out of the world, the same thing happens as in the attached video. Not sure if a duplicate of another old report.
On a 100x100 area of lava i did /fill a 100x100 area of water above it, causing the server crash.
Please provide the exact command used
