Flower forests have fewer flowers than in 1.17.1, and they also generate differently

The bug

At world generation in 1.18, flower forest seems to have fewer flowers than in previous versions (1.15-1.17.1). In earlier versions the flowers are evenly spread at all locations. In 1.18 flowers appear more in patches. I have travelled around in a single-biome flower forest world and it seems consistent. Bonemealing produces flowers in the expected way.

How to reproduce

Load up a world in 1.18, locate a flower forest biome.

Load up a world in 1.17.1, locate a flower forest biome.

Observed results

There seem to be fewer flowers generated in 1.18 than in 1.17. In 1.17.1 the flowers appear fairly evenly spread at all locations. In 1.18 flowers appear to be more in patches.

Expected results

On world generation, expected flower distribution in the flower forest to look similar to previous versions.

Can confirm, flower forests now generate with sparser patches of the same flowers instead of a nice dense mix of different flowers.
