If you fill a cauldron and then start breaking it, you can see the breaking animation getting displayed on the top of the cauldron (over the liquid). Empty cauldrons don't have this issue.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place a cauldron
Use a water bucket, lava bucket, or powder snow bucket on the cauldron.
Start destroying the cauldron (best to do this by hand so you can see the breaking animation).
Observed Results:
The breaking animation of the cauldron is displayed over the top of the liquid in the cauldron.
Expected Results:
The breaking animation of the cauldron is not displayed over the top of the liquid in the cauldron. Instead, the breaking animation should just be displayed on the outsides and insides of the cauldron and not include the liquid at all. The correct behavior can be seen on Bedrock Edition.

Fixing this requires adding a field to elements (or faces) of models to determine if the cracking animation can be applied over it.
