"Long" texture of a small dripleaf

The texture of the stem of the small drip leaf is incorrectly scaled, and because of this it looks elongated in the vertical.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Place a small drip leaf
2. Look at the lower part of the plant
Observed results:
long texture
Expected results:
normal texture
I have a logical explanation for this:
Initially, the texture of the stem is normal, and therefore the error is not in them. If you look closely at the game, you can see that the block's hitbox is pulled on the sides by 2 pixels to the center. Here I had one assumption, and I went to a 3D modeling program created for Minecraft. Having recreated the model of a small dripleaf, I saw that the model looked normal, I remembered that the hitbox was pulled inside, and decided to do the same with the model of the block. You can see that now the texture of the block is very similar to that in the game. I can assume that the developer accidentally along with the hitbox, also reduced the texture of a small dripleaf
And I also noticed that the wrong texture is only on the bottom of the model, and the top looks normal in the game. This can be seen at the junction of the upper and lower models of the small drip sheet. This confirms my assumption that the long texture of the bottom of the small dripleaf is a bug

@unknown Both this and MC-224035 describe the same issue with the small dripleaf model.
Edit: I just realized that the original comment was edited, my bad 😛 But this is certainly a duplicate of MC-224035.
