I don't know if this was intentional, but the Warden has a similar behavior has it had in the experimental Snapshot, cause it can't hit you if you're at least 2 blocks up.
I know this isn't important at all, cause it can hit you with it's new attcak, but it simply not makes sense with it having really long arms, and it kinda ruins the difficulty to fight em if it can't hit you and the last option to thw Warden it's to wait until it can do the attack.

Confirmed. Warden range was about 4 blocks, was significantly reduced with the introduction of the Sonic Boom attack.
