[MC-258321] Disappearing Allay

Case:

I summoned an allay in multiplayer. Gave it a cake, played the note block. It did give me back a cake, but then when I kept playing the note block, it just disappeared. I could no longer find it, the blue signal out of the note block used for indicating that the allay is listening disappeared. The allay did not fly away.

Unfortualy i had no photos.

But if it was single player, I would have just lost a nice partner mob.

Cannot be reproduced.

Please provide a screenshot with the F3 screen enabled of the server you were playing in.

This is incomplete and difficult to reproduce without steps. We need to know how this issue happened. With that being said, please attach a screenshot of this issue occurring while the F3 debug screen is enabled (press F3 on your computer to open the debug screen, and then press F2 to take a screenshot; then, upload the screenshot and attach it to this ticket).

If possible, yes. Also, we need to know the steps to reproduce this issue in order to confirm it. Are you using any mods? Is the server modded (using Paper, Forge, Fabric, Purpur, etc.)?

um so no mods or data packs for sure.

STeps:

Launch the pre-release 1.19.3, go to a world that was made in previous version.

Then change gamemode to creative. Get an allay spawn egg. Spawn it, give it a cake, then play the note block. Wait until it gives you a cake. Then stop playing the block. Now walk around for like half an hour[real time]. Then play the note block again. The note block will not give signals to the allay. Look around the place you spawned the allay.

Sorry, i don't have the pictures. IT is also really hard to reproduce it again. some bugs don't always happen every time, so, now that the new version is out, everything should be ok if you can't fix it. Cause no one is gonna play the pre-release 3 anymore though.

in the new version, i don't find the piglin head and bamboos, i mean i don't find any of the new stuff, i am in version 1.19.3

You need to enable the 1_20_update data pack on world generation to get those.

Are you sure the allay didn't just fly away from the note block instead of disappearing? Allays don't keep interest in the note block forever, they will eventually wander off if the note block is not played again.

and meaning if i was adventuring and want to have an allay with me, it would just abandon me???? As an adventurer, i don't taking out the note block and taming the allay then break it and then keep walking, then do that 5 min again would be a waste of time.

Yes, you have to create a new world. No, the experimental data packs have to be added on world generation and cannot be added to old previously created worlds.

No, the allay follows the player as soon as it stops being interested in a note block. Which is why this is unusual, I am not able to reproduce this, at least in singleplayer. If you are able to reproduce this again, please attach a video to this ticket.
