The transparency of "empty slot" textures is taken into account in the Smithing table interface, but not in the Inventory.

Invalid, you use resource pack.

I modified the images to use the vanilla "resource pack".
By modifying the "empty_armor_slot_boots.png" texture to highlight the problem.

Resource packs are part of the game's features, aren't they ?

But he was refused.
And above all there, we have the same texture which has two different treatments.

Just because that report got a won't fix resolution doesn't mean this is staying open. It's part of that report and gets the same resolution.

Transparency acceptence within GUIs is determined by the GUI, not the texture. A single texture being treated differently across instances is part of that report, transparency being inconsistent amoung/within GUIs is what that report is about.

So... Duplicate of MC-109447, whether you like it or not.
