The bug
Lectern can be burned which is not consistent with the chiseled bookshelf and other villager work stations.
According to the following comment, the lectern should also be fire-resistant otherwise the books in it will be destroyed or burned.

This also would be a good bug fix as other villager work stations are fire-resistant, in addition to chests and crafting tables.

We've been discussing this internally and came to the conclusion that consistency with the Chiseled Bookshelf is not the end goal in this particular case.
