Voicemeeter | Failed to get OpenAL attributes

When Voicemeeter is running, Minecraft runs at very low FPS (below 0), in both the main menu and in worlds / servers. The log gets filled with:

Without Voicemeeter running the game behaves as expected

I have this issue too, but only when certain audio devices are set as the output device in Minecraft options. Namely devices that are not Voicemeeter related or monitor speakers.

I have noticed that when enabling the narrator the game freezes until Voicemeeter is completely closed.

Issues requiring third party software are not supported on the bug tracker. Any log spam related to missing sounds seems to already be tracked in MC-254669
