The aiming position remains unaffected by camera animations when initiating actions such as sneaking, swimming, gliding with an elytra, or using riptide. Consequently, before the animation concludes, the aiming position corresponds as if the animation has already finished. This issue is related to MC-189619 and MC-148088. It also relates to MC-268996 and MC-259414.

Steps to replicate:
Optionally, run /tick rate 1 for better visibility, although normal tick rate suffices.
Adjust your camera angle and rotation so that the targeted block changes upon initiating sneak.
Begin sneaking and observe closely.
You'll notice that your aim aligns with the block as if the animation had already completed, even though it's still in progress. The expected behavior would be perfect synchronization between the targeted block and the animation. As mentioned, this observation extends to any camera height change animation introduced in 1.13. This includes animations for initiating and ceasing sneaking, beginning and ending gliding with an elytra, commencing and concluding swimming/crawling, and triggering the adjustment to a smaller hitbox due to a riptide trident.
This was fully fixed in bedrock in version 1.20.10 with the MCPE-166473 fix. Previously partially fixed in 1.19.70 MCPE-31896.
