The sound of ringing bells does not diminish in volume as you move farther away; instead, they simply cease playing once you're far enough away.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place down a bell
Repeatedly power it (can use a simple observer clock)
Continue to move away from the bell
Expected Result:
The sound would diminish in volume as the player moves away, and then stop playing once the player is far enough away.
Observed Behavior:
The bell stays a consistent volume, and abruptly cuts off once you are out of range.

Can confirm! It's better to reproduce this with 2 players, 1 ringing the bell and the other moving away from the bell. Requesting ownership since the reporter is inactive.

Well, this ticket has just been triaged with a "Normal" Mojang priority. It will likely remain open for now unless MC-148098 will be triaged too. Technically, you're correct, though.
