Piglin Head blocks cannot be waterlogged

The Piglin Head block cannot be waterlogged in Java Edition. This is not the case in Bedrock Edition, and the Piglin Head was introduced after 1.15, making this a valid parity issue.

(It's worth noting that other head blocks have the same issue, but were introduced prior to 1.15 and are thus invalid...)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Place down a Piglin Head block in Java Edition

  2. Attempt to waterlog it by placing a Water Bucket on it

  3. Notice it does not get waterlogged in Java Edition

  4. Repeat Steps 1-2 in Bedrock Edition

  5. Notice it does get waterlogged in Bedrock Edition

Most likely a duplicate of MC-248933, as even though the piglin head was added in 1.20, fixing this issue would cause inconsistencies between this head and others introduced before 1.15. However it could be valid.

This does indeed duplicate MC-248933 as @unknown mentioned, MC-248933 mentioned heads and other several blocks that cannot be waterlogged and the report was resolved as invalid.

That issue was marked as invalid due to covering blocks added prior to 1.15. The Piglin Head block was added after 1.15, and as such any parity issues related to it are valid.

@unknown In this case you are indeed correct and I can confirm, but its best if Mojang decides 🙂
Update: Relates to MC-270952
