Light blocks texture does not match Bedrock Edition

When the light block is first added, the light blocks have 32x32 resolution texture, and with semi transparent textures. The higher the brightness, the higher the opacity. However, this was changed in a later update so that light blocks no longer have semi transparent textures and 32x32 textures on the number, and no longer match Bedrock Edition, which the change was unintentional.

When the light block was first added, it was the only item with a 32x32 resolution texture in the vanilla game, however this was removed in a later update, thus losing this uniqueness.

This sentence makes this report feel like a feature request, in my opinion. 😃

Maybe update the description to describe how the texture does not match Bedrock's, as was already done with the title?

MCPE-127479 is the corresponding parity issue. Bedrock Edition is most likely the one with the outdated textures.

Thank you for your report!
After consideration, the issue is being closed as Working as Intended.

Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
