[MC-274310] Mounts don't drop items high enough, making the item fall into lava

The Bug:
When riding a strider, killing the strider does not allow the item to be picked up, making the mob loot burn
Expected Result:
The item should be picked up
Observed Result:
The item is gone, burnt.

Do you mean that the strider's loot burns in the lava when you kill it while it is on top of lava?

You can't kill a mob while riding it.
